I may be in the minority here, but I like the stock grips. I just soap and water to clean mine and then make sure I dry them real good.

I put grip puppies on my stock grips. Makes them feel about 200% better.

Some of the solvent cleaners will break down the grip material. Once this happens they will be funky from then on. +1 on new grips. If you like your current style grips, get them again and clean them with soap and water when needed.
