This place is the best. I called them today to refinance the bike. Wow did Harley credit roll me. I am glad I am only 6 months into loan. I knew the dealer bought up the points. I recommend anyone New England area give them a call if you went through Harley credit. They easily beat the rate. I got the same amount of payments left with a lower payment
why would you not want to get the bike paid off sooner? I don't get some peoples thinking
Shopping for financing is just as important as the price of the bike. I financed my EG with HD and they actually beat my credit union but I went in there knowing what the rates were. If they think they can screw you over for a higher finance rate, they will.
How many payments into your loan with HD are you before you refi'd and do you have any checking or sav accts there?
I got nothing through them, I have to make a share account set up or something with them. They only said I had to put $5 in it and i can read up how to be a full member. They didnt want much at all

Sorry, i worded it all wrong. I had a 6 year note and was 7 payments in, he said "you must have have 5 year note and you already paid 7 payments" and he gave me a 53 month loan But I had a 6 year loan. So I did take a year off my loan. So lower payments and took a year off. I also did put more money down on loan. But I am saving quite a bit. if you compare what total payments would be with interest at end of loan
I went down today, Got it all straighten out. Cost me $20 to join credit union for life. $5 in a savings account that I cant access and a Donation of $15 to a charity. Went smooth and got a great. Plus they have no fee free checking and other things. I like this bank
Yeah I got burnt on the financing too. And I don't know why I knew I had good credit. Guess I just wanted the bike really bad. Financing parts on the bike is a bad idea as well.
In before tokken "If you can't buy it with cash upfront you don't need/deserve it" guy.
HD finance tried to rake me over the coals. They were 12 points higher than the loan I got elsewhere. They make there money giving out high interest loans to people with border line credit. I am glad you got out and saved a bundle.....
Actually, no one has better rates than USAA if you are military affiliated.
I beg to differ....... I've been with them over 23 years. In all of that time I have had only one accident. I took out a loan to buy my bike and was happy with it until I heard a commercial about Alabama Telco FCU. I refinanced with them and I have a refi rate on a used Harley at new car loan rates! USAA was not near the ball park. As a matter of fact, they were still at home thinking about loading the car to get to the ball park.
I have had all my homes, investments, cars, etc. with them, they just missed the ball tremendously on this one.

Not even close to true...It may have been at one time but not now...My local credit union beats USAA EVERY time on bikes and boats. USAA's rates are up significantly the last few years. Not sure what the deal is...
