Life Changes
My sister had a heart attack on her 40th birthday. She still with us, but still obese and smoking like a freight train.
Glad your alive to see another day.
To OP:
I've recently rescued my health situation and I've learned that whole foods are the best. I've switched from egg and sausage for breakfast to plain oat cheerios cereal in almond milk with sliced bananas. Little things like instead of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, start to make a difference. Less processed food, and less meat and less dairy and more fruits and veggies - which is hard because I'm a steak and potato kind of person. Sugar and salt and carbs are a kind of low grade food addiction and I'm kicking it just like ciggybops and a few other nasty things I've kicked in the past.
There are numerous studies and data on this sort of thing based on geographical differences in population's diets. These studies show that countries with virtually no obesity, no diabetes, no cancer, no heart disease and greater general health and life longevity are the same countries that eat whole foods because they don't have much meat, carbs, processed foods and dairy.
I know everyone has heard this all before but this was a bunch of scientists,
Anyway,
Glad you're still with us and good on ya.
If you're motivated Google "whole food diet" to get information on this. I wouldn't go crazy on it but 'all things in moderation' is a good mantra and it's really helped me. Switch out to some healthier food choices and it could help. Good luck!
The big one ,well not real big but it was a hart attack . I was lucky that there were people around me,and were able to get me to help.
My neighbor/freind was not so.He took his lunch break and did not return.
His coworkers found him dead in his car from a heart attack.
