Does anyone make any kind of magnetic pouch for a GPS to possibly attach to the tank? I have searched but with no luck. Any information would be appreciated.
I don't think I'd trust a magnet on a motorcycle..
IDK about that. I have a magnetic pouch for my tank that holds my sunglasses, ID & Cards, Iphone and my Glock 26. Even with all of that weight in it, it stays right there and never moves.
Regardless OP, I would search the GPS manufacturer's site to see what is available. Before I got my handlebar mount, I used to use my Garmin suction cup mount on the tank and that worked fine in the mean time. But I certainly wouldn't trust it for the long term.
I know Harley has a few different styles. I use one for my iPhone when using the GPS.
+1. My GPS is my phone, so I use one of these. Worked great on a weeklong tour. Bottom is rubber so it doesn't scratch the tank or slip. It was rock solid at highway speeds (plus some). You can get them at the dealer. They are called "Boom Audio Pouch" or something like that. Part No. 76000193.

Kurt.....can you see your screen clearly as you ride? I have one of those Boom Audio pouches, got it mainly to hold my iPod because I have a hard time seeing my phone in bright daylight. Just wondering what others experiences are....
