Taking my MSF class next Thurs/Fri (17/18th), have been signed up for a couple of weeks now. SO ready to take it already. I feel like time is creeping by, I just want to get out there and learn to ride. Sorry, just had to vent.
good call taking the class, you will have fun and learn a lot.
i made a few new friends in my class, its a great time to meet others who want to get out there and ride.
get use to where the controls are as fast as you can, the sooner you do the easier it is to steer, this is because you dont want to be looking at the handlebars, you have to look where you want to go.
the further you look the easier the turn will be.
slow and smooth is key.
Finally! The big day is tomorrow! Looking forward to it.
heheheh, your enthusiasm is awesome. I think the MSF course is a great way to learn and get your license. If you start with a good base of knowledge, you'll be less likely to develop bad riding habits. Congrats and have fun.
I know the feeling I took my course in Apr, now have my license but the dealer doesn't have the bike I want in. So it's wait, buy one they have or go to another dealer. I would like buy from local since they sponsored the course but I'm getting awfully anxious. Congrats and enjoy!

A lot of dealerships will do Dealer trades if they call around and find the bike you want at another location. You can ask them about this and see if they can locate and trade for the bike you want.

Kudos on the MSF course! I just took the advanced riders course a couple of years ago at Ft. Riley, Kansas. The instructor was awesome and very personable. Turns out we even had a close mutual friend! Another plus is the insurance discount, it's only about 10-15%, but that is still a bonus in my book. Congrats again!
