Default Forum Problems.....what's up?

I know there were problems recently with the mail system, at the same time the site was loading so slow...Terry mentioned it.

Anyway, I'm still not getting email responses to subscribed threads....so something has still got to be fukked up.

Is the fix in the works?

The biggest problem with this forum is to many people put
way to many BIG pictures of themselves, their bikes or both
in every post they post turning the forum into a big slug!! No
wonder they have problems..

I don't know if it's an ego thing or what, but this forum is the
worst motorcycle forum for this on the net!

Other then that this is one great forum, when it's working
right, with lots of great people on here! This forum and
Steve Saunders Goldwing forum probably have the best
people on them then any other motorcycle forums I visit.
Steve Saunders asked everyone over their to cut out the
big pictures with every post to make his run much smoother
and it works way better now since people cut out the big
pictures!

The owner here might think aboutdoing thesame thing!

We have asked everyone to limit the size of their pictures. I believe there is an Announcement at the top of every forum. People just either ignore it or don't know how to resize their pictures. I try to fix as many as possible but just can't keep up.............however, the picture size has nothing to do with the programming problems, speed or email problems we are having right now. We are fully aware of the difficulties some members are having and are working on correcting it. The email problem is out of our hands right now because IP's all over the place are kicking HDF off because members are receiving so many email notifications they are labeling us as SPAM. We are still trying to correct that problem but the programming problems are being looked at first.

We have addressed the picture problem in the past. We are a Harley forum and we like to see pictures of everyone's bikes. The new Photoshop forum has helped very much. The only thing that bothers me is when a member posts a picture that is so big it distorts the forum.

And no, we aren't going to kick you off for mentioning another fourm BUT..............
