That's what I was thinking too. I think we have a post skimmer here, speed reader or has issues with reading comprehension. It's ok, just kinda cracked me up a little.

I've never searched for HD parts at Ace or True Value but I have to say I'll pay a little extra for the service and accessibility. I haven't found my "favorite" hardware store here (Louisville, CO, near Boulder) but I miss the old guy I called my "Hardware Guru" (at the True Value in Pasadena, CA). He seemed to know everything about anything from wood screws to toilet parts. I know, off topic but when I saw this post it made me....homesick.....I'm getting emotional.....I need a tissue.....
