This is one of the Threads that simply make me shake my head and wonder why do people bother posting in this Forum, so many dimwitted numbnutters on here with a smart *** comment, the OP was just stating an experience he had......relax people ...yikes.

I've never searched for HD parts at Ace or True Value but I have to say I'll pay a little extra for the service and accessibility. I haven't found my "favorite" hardware store here (Louisville, CO, near Boulder) but I miss the old guy I called my "Hardware Guru" (at the True Value in Pasadena, CA). He seemed to know everything about anything from wood screws to toilet parts. I know, off topic but when I saw this post it made me....homesick.....I'm getting emotional.....I need a tissue.....
