Road closure Memorial weekend
Hello everbody
I got this at work today and just want to pass it on to any of you that might be traveling in the SW Colorado area May26
Contact: Iron Horse Bicycle Classic office at 970-259-4621
Durango, CO Memorial Day Weekend and the 41st Annual Iron Horse Bicycle Classic begins on Saturday May 26th. Highway 550 will be closed from Durango Mountain Resort to Silverton, Colorado on Saturday May 26th from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. This is a special permit from the Colorado State Patrol.
This is the 14th year for the road closure.

There's a regional section if you go back to the forums list, and scroll down, and post this in the section that's read by CO riders. Anybody not riding a touring bike, probably isn't reading this touring section.
