Had a white van once & ran through area where crew was filling cracks/strips...pretty much spent the weekend scrubbing that crap off w/bug/tar remover & wax. What a bitch!

Asphalt crack sealing should be banned or at least done so it only fills the crack and isnt splattered 6 - 12 inches wide! When its wet, that **** will kill you cornering.

Most riders, including myself, forget about these when the weather is cool and the tar snakes are solid, let the temps rise up to where they get soft and ride over 1 while in a turn and God all mighty.. what a reminder!
I know of no accidents from these just several riders that had a whole new outlook afterwards.

I ain't a fan of the paint they use for arrows, lines and stuff like they either. Around here it doesn't rain much so when it does those painted do-dads get slippery as hell.

The closest I've ever come to crashing (besides racing crashes) has been on tar strips in the AZ summer.
