Default the duckwalk

Have seen a lot of what appear to be veteran bikers doing the duckwalk lately. Saw a greybeard of at least 60 duckwalk about 6 feet up to a stop sign..then..stumble with his feet down for the first few feet upon letting out the clutch..and had both feet waving out at his sides as he weaved around a corner until finally putting them on the pegs. I don't know about you guys..but just let out the clutch, put my feet up, and go! Not an isolated thing..have seen people that look very unsteady and uncomfortable stopping and starting lately...and many appear to be guys that have ridden awhile. Makes me wonder what the rest of their riding abilities are like....

Maybe a medical condition, just leave it alone and let him go on his merry way.

I can honestly say there have been many a time when I've come to stop sign or light and the legs and brain don't want to work together. One time I even got off the scoot without putting the jiffy stand down, in a parking lot no less.

Getting older sucks! Your strength and coordination aren't what they used to be and the bikes keep getting heavier which doesn't help any at stops. Or it could just be a new rider as was already pointed out. Either way, as long as they didn't cause themselves or anyone else any harm what's the big deal.

No big deal...was just funny to see a guy with the vest...gloves..beard..and attitude (he blipped his throttle constantly) wobble up to..and away from..a stop sign...flapping his legs and off balance. Could be right...barley pops will do that.......
