Finally had to hook up the battery tender.Rode 2 days ago,but it's 28 now wind chill is 17 Not puttin in Stabil,cause gas is good for 60 days I hear,and I know I'll be out before that,God willing. [sm=biker.gif]
What's wrong with 28 degrees? Last month I rode when it was 17. As long as you are dressed for it, and aren't trying to go 150 miles, it ain't bad at all. I have heated grips, but not the heated "body suit" (... gloves, vest, socks.... etc.).
This is what we call "Chrome Time" in Michigan.......go to the dealer and pick out a couple of nice add-ons, and spend a week puttin around the ol bike and get her all cleaned up and chromed out .
I'm still finishing up a couple of home projects, but I'll be ordering new wheels for the bike soon. I have a chrome front end to put on yet.......Waiting for a sale at my dealer to pick up the Cruise Control.....new set of grips.....boy winters are expensive!
Then when the weather breaks, you'll be that much more excited to ride!
Can't complain here, been the warmest winter on record. Like ultraultra said, just dress warm or get some heated gear. I have the heated jacket and gloves and they keep you plenty warm.
