Thanks guys! It sounds like they are good to try out. As soon as I receive them and get them installed, I will post an update. Till then by all means feel free to post more info.

IMO straight pipes are a bit too much for my neighborhood.
They have an hour glass shape which creates a venturi effect to speed up exhaust gas velocity that's where the gains come from, they have a small restricter inside that adds back pressure which combined with the perforated cone reduces noise and helps low and mid range torque. I have a set of header pipe style baffles on the way. I'm really only trying to reduce noise or at least reduce the frequencies that set off car alarms. I'm hoping the noise reduction is what I'm looking for with my early style SE slip ons with diverter style baffles. Keeping my fingers crossed. If there is a performance gain that's just icing on the cake.

I put em' in some Samson Short Slashers and they made a world of difference.
They gave me back the low end that I lost going w/straight pipes and the sound was awesome to say the least.
Highly recommended!!

That's good to hear, sounds like a win win modification to me. I hope for similar results. I wonder if the baffles you installed in the head pipes are the same part number I have headed my way as we speak. I 'm using the stock head pipe with the balance tube so i didn't loose a lot of low end. Jim @ BCT said using the BCT head pipe baffles in concert with the diverter baffles in the SE mufflers will do exactly what I'm looking for while enhancing performance a little.

I have a set of brand new BCTB's still in the box unopened for sale. Can save you $50 bucks! Wound up buying baffled TAB slipons for $275 that have a similar effect. PM me if you have any interest.
Can you post the BCT part # you are trying to sell...might help move them.

See that's what I like about this place, if you need answers, information, or advise...it's all here, one stop research. But I gotta be honest with ya...While doing my research, before placing my order @ BCT I had already watched your vids ...part of the deciding factor. They do sound good Schu....thanks for posting them here. Are those muffler mounted baffles that replaced the original baffles or are they head pipe mounted baffles used in conjunction with the muffler baffles? BCT baffles should be here Tuesday.

I just got mine for the V&H big radius. My original baffles will not come out no matter what. So they're going back on Monday. I'm bummed!
