Glad to see you're back on the bike. Just do what you're doing - RIDE and you'll get more comfortable with it again soon. I've been down twice and both times I rode again as soon as I was able to. These things make you a better rider, you learn from each experience.

Its been 10 years since a young lady successfully removed the front of my Blazer when running a stoplight. I still slow down for intersections green light or not. Used to drive my wife crazy, but she's used to it now, I guess.

To those who have been thur the same, how long did it take to re-group and not want to punch anyone that gets close to you.
Good for you for getting back on the bike.

Hats off!

its natural to be a bit gun shy after an accident like that. Try channeling the nervousness into a healthy dose of heightened situational awareness and observation. It'll help build your confidence as you'll know what is going on around you at all times and help you identify potential threats to your person and your bike, and also identify escape routes.

Just don't let it become paranoia or you'll never enjoy your ride.

best of luck.

Got out again today, did 124 miles.. outside the nerves in my left arm acting up and a loose peg from when they rebuilt the Bike, went alot easier. Thanks for the relies, as I was wondering if it was just me and changing how I ride.
