Thanks to you and the other "cool guys" that ruin it for those of us who still uphold what we grew up on.
In my country HD riders are mental for the leather chaps, jackets, vests, patches, skulls & crap! There are no real clubs and there is only 1 dealer + 1 or 2 shops so its hard to find a real rider around here.

The metric scene is far more developed, they play tag on the highway at 160-180 etc...

I wave to bikes (650 & up).
Scooters are just that & to me they are there own category of wheeled thing, skate boards on batteries

Waving is not a mental thing or a kid thing, its a bit of respect for someone who decided to get out of bed, go get a bike with a clutch and learn how not to die on this thing. The morons riding those scooters get run over all the time here , it causes everyone's insurance to be 5X what a cars is, I've never had an accident yet my insurance is real high to start with.

The point here is that real bikers have always and will continue to:
1. do their own repairs
2. ride forever given the opportunity taking your wife with him
3. thank GOD for the privilege and
4. fight for the right to be a biker not a poser.

. Wake up someone, www.infowars.com

[quote=PassRusher75;9955534] There is an old house a little ways off the side of that road, all to itself, that one day as I passed I just happened to notice a young boy in a wheelchair that waved to me from the porch.

How could anyone say, "I don't care, I never wave"?

These threads always get outta hand like this, and you've got the wrong idea. I wave at kids on the side of the road, or I'll wave at a little kid on the sidewalk or porch, or I'll wave at this kid in the wheelchair. Who wouldn't? I just don't wave at every single person on a bike who passes me going the opposite direction. Some people just don't wave. It really is nothing personal at all. What if a group ride of 1000 bikes passes you? To whom do you wave? All of them? None of them? Some of them? What if you have to put your left hand back on the grip? Is somebody gonna feel slighted because you waved to another biker & not him/her? I'm not a tough guy. I'm not way cooler than you. How would I think that if I don't even know you? I'm actually a pretty decent, nice guy. I just don't wave. Alot of guys don't. Just realize it, and enjoy the rest of your ride. People actually get all pissed off like this over a silly, stupid wave?

Geezer, the 'wavers' don't get it and I think they're panties are riding up a bit too high.
We (you and I) choose who we wave at, ride with, and buddy-up with and some just don't get that. We're just as free not to wave as they are compelled to always wave. We don't get offended if they wave but they sure pout if we don't wave back.
What a world, eh?

if I pass someone who doesn't wave, I pull a U turn, whip out my jammy and blow him clean off his bike. that'll make him wave next time

I am usually paying attention to the traffic in front of me. If I happen to notice another bike going the other way, I'll wave. I'm not going to stare into oncoming traffic looking for you, though.

I wave and sometimes I nod and sometimes I don't do anything. If I'm in the zone and not looking for bikes in the other direction I sometimes don't even notice them till they are passing me.

When I ride my sport bike the HD guys rarely wave at me. I noticed when i do get a wave its much older guys. Maybe at their age they are just happy to see another biker.

When I ride my HD I notice most HD riders wave and many sport bike riders too.

I love riding anything with two wheels so I'm stoked to see anyone else riding too. It doesn't matter what bike someone rides. It just matters that they ride.
