Default The biker WAVE

So I picked up my new to me 02 Deuce in Brownsville Texas a week ago, and rode it back to West Virginia for a nice little 2300 mile trip. But the strange thing to me was the fact that as I was riding I probably passed around 400 bikes. This was due to it being the end of the holiday weekend and all. passing all of these bikes on the highway and side streets, I had only about 20 wave back to me?! I was a little surprised and disappointed. Believe it or not, the only ones that waved back were kids on sport bikes and a select handful of Harley riders. When did it become unpopular to wave?

I guess it depends.......If its a busy weekend of riding for everyone, I think most get the idea that we acknowdledge each other, honestly though, I would hate to wave my hand 400 times. When the riders are far and few between, I always junk the duece.

Ok, I'll confess. I was riding that exact same route just about a half mile ahead of you, covertly signalling to all the bikes that you were behind me and that they should NOT wave back to you. I believe the kids these days would call that getting "punked". Or is it "puked"?
