And people look at me like I'm crazy when I sweep the top of our road, as I was doing yesterday afternoon. I don't care about the sand that collects, nor the gravel, it is the rocks that sucketh during the turn onto the road. Turning out of the road isn't bad since there is a stop sign, which gives you time to pick your path.

It is turning onto my road, coming down a hill at 50mph, slowing down and finding the car behind you isn't paying attention (or not slowing down as fast as I would like him too) so taking the corner a bit faster than allows for good visual on where the rocks are. Or, like it has been lately, too many rocks to avoid. I've had a few times that I woke up real quick by sliding off a rock. Have always managed kept it right side up, but makes me nervous.

You sweep the top of your road? That's crazy!

The house on the corner has those big rocks in her yard and they get on the road from high school kids kicking them. Sometimes from falling off construction trucks in the middle of the road. Not sure where this one came from, but there aren't anymore there. I made sure of that.

I've always managed to miss them, but in the middle of my turn I didn't see it. I'll be sweeping my road more often too now.

I'm a good portion into that book that was mentioned. FANTASTIC read. I think experienced riders will get more benefit than new riders in fact. I'm sitting back and thinking, "yup, been there."
