Don't I wish I aint got that kinda money! But I will continue to play the lottery! Could always use me a nice belt, match these suspenders, that'd be a step up for sure!!!
I use a dab of Hylomar on the threads of drain plugs. My older bike has pipe plugs, and that allows them to seal without having to be installed so tight.
Drain the oil into a clean pan after you go to hd and pick up half dozen o rings. Replace the ring and reuse the oil. Don't take shortcuts with your bike. That leaking oil gonna fling on your tire and could take you out if you believe in murphys law.
I never thought about using teflon tape. I think I'll use a piece. Thanks for the advice.
By the way y'all, I bought 3 o-rings from the harely of nyc. I walked in and told the guy I needed an oil drain plug o-ring. In a friendly way, he goes "oh, that's it?" I'm like, "yeah." Why, OH WHY, did I have the false notion that he was just gonna give it to me? I ended up paying .95 cents each and got 3. What a ****ing rip off, but I don't want to chance using another lowsy o-ring. I think if you walk off with dust on your boots from the harley dealership, they'll make you pay for it. Crooks.
