Don't know if this has been done before, but Vets need to know there are businesses who support them. Would like to see a "sticky" with a growing list, all you need to do is ask, you might be surprised. For you Vets, and those to who it matters, while on the road, it would be good to have a list like this:
Our MC Website has such a list, with names like:
Home Depot
Lowes
IHOP
High Desert Harley Davidson, Boise ID
Grizzly Harley Davidson, Missoula & Kalispell MT
Most of these offer up a 10% discount to Veterans (past and present with ID card), but there is one on this list (IHOP) that went far above that. Your on a road trip, just passing by, support these businesses because they support you....Just a thought !
I know the Home Depot where I live will give a discount if you show your V.A. card but only if you are "service connected". I am not service connected but do the bulk of my business with Home Depot because they do try to give the guys that left part of themselves behind a break.
