Go to your dealer and test ride an Ultra. One test ride might get you past the way they look.

Big guys always shy away from anything other than a dresser, in fact my fxrs-sp has a longer wheel base than dresser. Maybe a different seat or like has been said, extended f/c would do the job.

My legs felt cramped and tucked under me on the RKC. When I got back on my Deluxe I felt much more stretched out. I'm 6'. Maybe try a Heritage Softail just for shyts and giggles ...

RoadGlide would probably give you the most elbow room with that fairing way out in front of you. The RG is gonna be my next bike fwiw...

i am also a big man.. I am 6foot 6 inches.. I cannot ride a batwing type fairing. Much too cramped, just too close.. Look at a Road Glide..

I am 6'3", 230lb. I have an Ultra Classic and a (heavily) modified Street Bob. The Street Bob is much more comfortable when riding alone. My feet are further apart and further forward. The bike is also lighter and more fun to ride, but I sure as hell would not even consider touring with two people on board. The Ultra Classic is a heavier, stronger bike designed to carry a heavy load at interstate speeds. The passenger has a lot of room and the driver gives up a little but it is really only noticable if you are over 6' tall.

I'm 6'3"and 300 lb...have both a FLSTC and FLTR which both fits me well. I did change to taller bars on the Road Glide.

6'5" and 350ish here I rode a 2008 Fatboy for a couple years and wasn't a bad ride but I LOVE my 2011 Road Glide Custom! Taller bars is a must I had some custom built 16" made for me. Next project is to move the boards forward a little and I will be in a great shape I won't ever go back to anything else.
