Headlight Choice?
What is best way to upgrade headlight. On my FLSTC I had the HD Halogen headlight(about$159). Much better at night but I don't know about daytime. It seems the HD HID light is about $500, with daytime visibility problems. Any other options? Any reccomendations? It's for a 2012 Tri Glide. Thanks.

I guess I am little behind the times. I am only concerned about the brightness of my head light at night. The one you have now seems to be plenty bright at night. And day. Stay with it. Sorry. I can not help you about the brightness of a day light headlight.You have a bigger bike budget than I. Good Luck. Ride Safe.

Send a email to Daniel Stern (google the name for lights) and ask. I got a detailed email back and bought a Cibie headlamp shell and a Osram bulb from him. I rode home in the dark the other night for the first time in a long time on my Duece, it has a Cibie shell in it, and compared to the stock lamp, so much better, particularly on high beam. I am looking forward to riding with the Ultra with the new headlamp.
