Shoulda been 1st degree, drunk or not. A-hole gets outta the slammer for violating a protective order and goes after her again? Sounds like 1st degree to me! Mebbe Bubba will get hisself a new butt-buddy when this sub-human shows up at the pen.

It's 1st degree, and MY punishment for him would be 2 Harleys pulling gaffe-tipped log chains that are hooked to his butthole. Split him like cord wood.

"Belch's defense attorneys told jurors that Belch was too drunk to form a 'specific intent to kill.' Under Pennsylvania law, a person can use voluntary intoxication as a defense that he or she was not able to form the criminal intent necessary to commit first-degree murder."

that prlck and his lawyer should never see the light of day !!!

In the early 70s something similar happened to a friend of mine. She lost her leg above the knee and the guy who was giving her a ride home on his Motorcycle was killed when her jealous boyfriend ran them down from behind with his car minutes after they lefta bar where her boyfriend had earlier gotten into an arguement with her and told her "findyour own way home". The boyfriend was convicted of vehicularmanslaughter and vehicularassult and served less than8 yrs. It looks like all these years later andthe punishment still dont fit the crime........................BG
