Anyone know where I can pick up one of the Outlaw ultra low profile helmets? Every place I have found them online is sold out. I have been on an email list for a few weeks now and nothing. I really want to try one of these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
LeatherUp.com is where I have regestered for an email notificatons when they become available. Nothing for about three or four weeks now. Thanks for the help though guys. Anybody else have anything other than LeatherUp?
I've been wanting one myself but yup always sold out. So that got me thinking they're either really really popular or maybe very low production runs. Maybe both. So I started doing some checking.
Outlaw helmets are made by Vcan inc which is a chinese owned corporation. Also checked the compliance testing by DOT. Both Outlaw helmet models tested since 2005 failed for performance and one was recalled. One of the failing helments is still being sold as DOT compliant but under a slightly different model number.
So now I'm seriously rethinking getting one. If I'm gonna spend the money for a DOT helmet I want to at least have a fair chance of getting a DOT helmet and not one that fails and just had the model number changed.

Finally tried mine out...works pretty well. I got the XL, but think I might need the XXL. I wear a size 7 5/8 hat...the XL feels like it slides up a bit...stayed put while riding though...no choking...pretty good if I say so myself!
