"stealers"
They're faster too. The indy shop here wants to hold your bike hostage for 2 weeks just to have tires put on. I took mine into the dealership and they did the tires in a few hours while I waited. They even had a big sign in the service department that said "wondering what to do while you wait for service? Why not take a test ride"
JesusFC, with posts like the one quoted above, sometimes I feel like this board is predominated by narrow minded, ignorant, highly successful, well heeled people who own a house. And it probrably is. I bet, on this board, that those who own a house outnumber those who live in an apartment.
If the tone of this post compels an ignorant homeowner to hate me, they can take solace in knowing that the recent uptick in atmospheric temperature has caused a load of bugs to invade my apartment. Revenge is sweet and it's all yours because I am being overrun by bugs! They're everywhere I look. I just hope they don't crawl into my laptops USB port.
Hahaha jokes on you, unfortunately for you the bugs ain't roaches nor are they the dreaded earwig. They're ants. Ants ain't bad, I can tolerate ants. I can deal with the thought of checking my filthy toilet bowl to find a few crusty ants embedded in fecal matter hours after I eat dinner. Can't say the same about a cockroach or an earwig. If you want revenge you'll have to flame me with the hottest torch ya got.

If you don't like the prices at Nordstroms then go shop at Macy's or Walmart or the Dollar Stores (or even Goodwill stores). The neighborhood you want a house in is too pricey? Go to a cheaper one.
Prices are governed by supply and demand. If the dealerships weren't selling 3 screws for $15 then they'd reduce them. Clearly they sell what's on their shelves and their bike inventory. Another dealership may have lower overheads and that's why they can afford to drop $ off MSRP, or maybe they choose to sell more at a reduced profit than the Dealership that won't drop prices.

I was responding to this..."No one person forced them to go to the dealer. Nevertheless, they were virtually forced to go to the dealer. Huh, what? Look it wasn't a person that forced them, it was a certain circumstance. And that circumstance would be imposed on riders who rent an apartment. Apartment dwellers usually don't have a dedicated garage in the good old U.S. Also, many rental contracts state that wreching on cars and bikes in a parking stall IS FORBIDDEN. That means many renters are virtually forced to go to the dealer or an indie."
If they can't afford the cost of ownership given their circumstances. They can move, buy a house, sell the bike, whatever, but they are not forced by anything but their own decisions. Nobody made them live where they do. It was "imposed" on them by their own choices.
