"stealers"
Regarding "stealers": after my last experience I'm finding that the moco (hey there's another one!) really binds their hands on several levels. They really don't have much latitude when it comes to pricing on bikes and parts. I was much more disappointed in corporate than I was at the dealer.
Back about 12 years ago, when I had my motor remanufactured by the MoCo, it failed under warranty. The dealership went to bat for me and forced Harley to take it back and make it right. They sent me back a new (not rebuilt) motor, and the dealer installed it. Cost me nothing.
(Or maybe it's Donald Trump.) Sounds like you're saying if you're gonna ride a Harley it would be in your best interest to own a house with a garage. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. You say that "poor down trodden apartment dwellers have no business" owning a Harley and they probrably "can't afford to own one."
Can't afford to own a Harley? Evidently you don't have a clue as to what it costs to rent an apartment in NYC or San Francisco. You can't be poor or downtrodden to rent a nice apartment in a big, American city. It's the biggest holiday weekend of the year. I have to believe that your rationalizations were made while under the influence of party material the DEA would frown on. It's amusing how you disenfranchise renters.
I know people who hate the idea of living in the suburbs. I'm one of them. City living is where it's at for a lot of people. In the suburbs you got your little garden where you can get down on your hands and knees to tend to a cauliflower patch. Boring! Although you do bring new meaning to the words "patched rider." Cauliflower MC, here we come. No thanks, I'll take the bright lights of the city.
Although my IP address indicates that I'm posting from Sweden, I actually live in an apartment a block from the beach in San Diego. Too bad you can't say the same. See you on the boardwalk, friend.
Sincerely,
