Today under duress I had to leave the road king at home and take my truck into town to run errands. It was my first time on four wheels in 2 weeks and man did it feel strange.

The funniest part was as I was bombing along the 2 lane rural roads where I live I glanced at the speedo as I knew I was flying along and discovered that I was going about 10 mph slower than I would be on the bike.

50 in the truck feels so much faster than 60 on the bike. Who wudda thunk?

LOL! I bought my FXD last November and sold my pickup by New years... Now anytime Im forced to drive a 4wheeler I feel soooo awkward. lol

To me it feels like everything is in slow motion in comparison to my bike *shrug*. I always laugh at myself because every single time I have to fight the near uncontrollable urge to roll down the window and waive at on-coming Bikes lol

My Jeep sits and collects dust mostly. It's a 2006 I bought new and it only has 50,000 miles. When my wife and I go out, she drives. I go weeks at a time without driving on 4 wheels, and it feels weird to me too. But it's a nice luxury sometimes.

I own a truck, yea I know you've never seen it, but really I do. I move it every other week to keep the tires from getting flat spots and keep the torque converter full of fluid (never know when I might need to make a quick get away)

I know all you've ever seen is the bike and my wife's, Camaro but I swear I really do have a truck.

Oh, all right I'll take some pictures of it to show ya sometime but not now, I'm gonna go ride.

Go weeks in the riding season without driving my truck or car. It's awesome.

Yup, the great weather here in New England has my truck parked for a few weeks now. I'm loving being uncaged and don't look forward to having to drive my truck.

I'm just debating SUV or bike - huge black clouds heading this way, I have 10 minutes to make a choice and factor in all day rain like it was yesterday. I don't mind admitting to being a wuss when it comes to torrential tropical rain.

I find the exact opposite of the OP. I've driven my SUV and my wife's Juke about half a dozen times since I got my sporty back in April. The ride is so much smoother and quieter that I have to keep an eye on the speedo or I end up 10-15 MPH over the limit.

Definitely...my 06 Colorado just turned 40K on the odometer (owned since new), but the 09 FLHX is getting ready to pass the odometer...you do the math.
