I'm wanting to upgrade my factory pipes for something new but I'm not very knowledgeable on these things. I have a blue 2011 fat bob. Was even thinking of black pipes but again not sure on brand or anything. Ideas, suggestions? Thank you.

Sound is very subjective. You'll get a hundred suggestions. What some people like on here, I didn't like at all. Before you get some pipes, go to bike night, or to a dealer on a nice Saturday morning. Find some people with bikes like yours, and ask 'em to fire it up for you. (they probably will, no problem.) When you hear something you like, you'll say "that's what I want, right there."
I agree with what Geezr said. I went with Kuryakyn mufflers on my Ultra. Not sure what pipes they might make for the Bob though. Take a listen before you purchase. And remember, they are quieter when new than with 5000 miles on them.
