What is the full life of an EVO engine assuming that the oil has been changed every 2500 miles and has been adult riden?

I know a guy that has around 145 k on a 96 heritage and says that, he has never had the heads off of it.
He's still rides it daily.

I know a guy that justsold his evo electra glide with 160,000 miles. He said it still ran strong.

had over 100k on mine no headwork great running engine they are.

most motors of the evo quality should last a long long time with a person who gives it the love it needs.

I put 98,000 on one. Had a valve burn at 85K. Intake gasket had cracked and caused it to go lean. Did the head work and had a top notch wrench look it over while he had it torn down. Pistons, bearing, etc still well with in tolerence. The guy I sold it to is still riding it. I think it has about 135K on it now and still looks and runs good.

I know of three that were bought new and after a year were cam'd up and 10:1 pistons put in that have been ridden hard and I do mean hard and all three have well over 80.000 miles and they never had a problem with any of them.

Have seen many over 100 k no problem , met a guy from Canada that had over 175,000 kilometers on his last year on a heritage.
Long live the evo. !
