trying to trade my RK custom sdalle bags for a set of standard paintable hard saddle bags. Im pretty sure I would hafta throw in some cash but thats okay if they are in good shape.
I'm not sure they will take them on trade, so you may have to sell them on Ebay. However, I think solid bags would look great on your bike, painted up to match. I have seen some of the bags that were "stretched-out" and molded around the pipes, etc. on some RK show bikes. Very cool.
I'd keep the leather bags. That way you could change the look of the bike occasionally.
I'm thinking of getting a set of RK Classic leather bags for mine. My bike has several different configurations I can use now (detachable stuff). That would add to it.
Ape - not sure if this would help you - I have nothing to do with this auction - Please don't think this is a personal endorsement - was just thinking if it was cheap enough maybe you could keep both sets
I would prefer to have both types of bags but impatience is making me wanna trade. Ill hang on to my bags and buy a set of hard bags later when I can afford them.
