Default Fatboy 08 seat options

Bought a mustang seat with back rest some 2 years ago and never liked the way it fits.
Ive put the side tabs of the seat inside the fender brackets and frame by doing this if not care full the fender will drop down.

the HD seat could be taken off with ease give easy access to the battery not like the mustang seat that is a major job with the right tools.

So I may be looking for another seat or a back rest which will fit with the stock seat any good ideas

Here is a reasonably priced backrest that may work for you. They have a refund policy if yiou don't like it.

Been thinking of getting one for my bike.

Mustang 2 up seat attaches with a single center bolt at rear of seat to fender and the same front tab the stock seat uses.

I have the sundowner, and like it. Some people don't. I am short around 5'8" if that makes a difference. Also one thumb screw and the whole thing comes off.

Mine is the front seat and seperate rear pad the front is fixed by two side tabs using the
fender bolts its a rear pig to get of and on.
Like I say getting to the battery is not a job anyone would like to do on the side of the road.
Yes its comfortable and it does have a rider back rest but what if I break down and need a boost start or just gen maintainance its an ****
