Got back from the Rats Hole show in Niagra. Show was good, small compared to a Daytona or Sturgis, but it was good show. The Bike got photographed for the 2013 Ratshole Calendar, and took 2nd place which I'm happy with concidering the comp was tough as all Rat Holes are.
Worst thing after ordering my custom pass pegs, they still aren't here, that was near 2 1/2 weeks ago? Go figure everyother company sent thier stuff within 3 days out of the country...So stock pass pegs had to do, probably cost me 1st, oh well life goes on and it was fun..
I really didn't like the show. Was to small for what it cost to get in. Some nice bikes but have seen most of them at the bike show in Toronto or at Dover. Maybe next year will be better
I agree, but it was its first year nothing like Toronto, Daytona or Sturgis. Was fun though. I figured this out, it was cheaper to enter a bike than go to the show.
For $35 you got the Bike entered, TWO wrist bands, a Hat and Pin...So you made out better entering a bike no matter what...$40 = Two people, the Hats are worth $10 and pin at least $3 - $5 lol So if you brought another person it cost you more money $40
I know they have tried for a few years now to do the rat show. I think the first one was the biggest when it was at the zoo but has gotten smaller since then. But I have to say saturday was a nice day for a ride there so that was good.
Was that your ride in the pic? If it was that was one of the bikes I liked there. i do like the paint job.
If it was congrats on 2nd place. Which one beat ya?
Thanks yep thats mine. Im redoing the seat and air breather next. The pass pegs didn't arrive in time. Its my 3rd show now, with 2 seconds, and a first. Thanks for the compliments, my friend won Best of show. He always wins, I told him its time to retire haha.
I went to Can Biker Build off 3 years ago, but they ran out of money so that ended that. That was a pretty good show, wish it come back.
I forgot to add haha, I was in 1000 Custom, the last Red One in my row, with the Z Bars and ostrich seat, which I figured he would give me a run, probably pretty close, at the Canadian Biker Build off I lost by 1/2 point, damn clip on the bar was not inline with the other, picky lol...
Im happy with 2nd, the bike only in phase 2, of 4 phases.
