Cycle Gear just advertised their very well reviewed cooling vests for $29 each. Can't beat that.

Ride on up this way, hahaha... Just make sure you start your ride back by about September sometime. Besides the on and off rain we've been getting lately, most days have been in the high 50's to low 70's (actually feels warm for here).

What'sa problem?

You're not stuck in a metal box with recycled air are you? No? Then what's wrong?

If it's too hot for ya, don't ride. Some people are pansies like that, and it's okay. :-P

A few weeks ago we had record temps here in Raleigh area, tied all time record for number of consecutive days over 100, etc.

Road every day, including two with temp at 105 and heat index approaching surface temp of the Sun.

Not much keeps me from riding, but have to admit when I'd get off the bike on those days, I felt like some life had been sucked out of me!

It's been HOT and Humid around here for weeks/months, Only problem I have is trying to decide to re-jet my carb. Should be fine in normal cooler weather (70's 80's) but this upper 90's is making my bike run on the fat side.

I'm with ya bro. I'm just west of STL and highs have been in the hundreds for well over a month it seems. It's not fun when you are riding into a freaking hair dryer.

We'er in the middles of "monsoon season" here in southern AZ. 90+ degrees and 80+ humidity so I know what you eastern guys are going through. Big difference is that here we will be back down in single digit humidity in a couple of months.
