I took the WS off my Road King once and road it for about ten miles and when I got home I put it back on and have never taken it off since. Except for cleaning the bike.

Now I have the Dyna which has no windshield (don't know if Iwant toruin the look by adding one). Rode it when the temp was 45 - 50 and could definitely tell the difference. Probably ride the Road King when the tempis below 60.

harley has a shield available for a sporty with aux lights. pn 57716-01 A little late but hey....it'll need to be replaced one day.
