Don't know if they have changed the process for black chrome since I went through that phase but a heads up about it . First it isn't as durable as regular chrome , the stuff will mark real easy and it dulls over time like a year maybe and it will rust if you don't stay on top of things . I did a lot of black chrome on this bike 15 plus years ago and things did fad in a couple years .
I had some bolts powdercoated on the blackout job I'm doing, and I painted some others. I found a way to paint chrome on here, so I've been doing that. Seems to be working.
