Default hard saddle bags

I replaced the hard bags with Road king classic bags, real happy with the change added matching tourpack as well.what I am wondering is ,is it worth the trouble to sell in pieces ie.. lids, bottoms, latches ,hinges or just sell them complete?also they are purple and gray,I thought tgo sand and prime ,ready for paint would this make them more desireable or just leave them as is? any input appreciated.any intrest I will post in classified.

I would sell them complete. they are worth some good cash but keep in mind when pricing them that given the color most buyers will have the expense of painting them whether you prime them or not. You shouldn't have any problem selling them though.

If you have the complete set of hardware, you can get 350.0-400.00 for it pretty easy. I just went through buying those when I replaced mine. Put the tops and bottoms out there for 300 or so and you will get between 650.00 and 700.00 for the set...

If you take the time to part them out, you'll almost surely get more for them than selling them intact. You'll have the hassle of the multiple transactions--which if you do eBay will take some of your time--but if that's not an issue, then there's no other downside to parting them out. To optimize your return, break everything down into nearly its smallest components, e.g., sell the latches in one transaction, the latch covers in another, etc.

I'd pack them away in the rafters , every time I sell something comes a day not long after I want or need it back .

No hassle... Sell comple, good priced... Most money.... Break down, sell all individual parts...

I'd sack them away... Just like the other poster stated
