Does anyone know if there is a protocol for placement of the H.O.G. patch?
I was thinking about putting it on my jacket , but didn't want to appear disrepectful if there is a generally accepted placement protocol.
The patch I'm referring to is the small one that they send when you join.
To do it properly you will need Hog Patch Installation Kit - fits 1954 and later models (p/n 85550-07).
NOTE: Installation of HOG Patch may cause imbalance weight distribution in wearing apparel, and may cause tipping, resulting in serious injury or death.
No protocol on the patch. The larger patch, you may want to leave enough room topside for your chapter banner and above it if you ever want to be a life member and display that banner.

I've been reading the HD Catalog again!!!
Sammi
Very good Sammi. I knew I was doing something wrong.
I put the little one on the top center of my jacket over the big eagle , around here most put the Big one with the chapter panel on there vest , old schoolers wear it lower ( I do , because my pony tail covers most of it up otherwise ) .

I've found that the best thing to do with your HOG patch is to put it anywhere you want. Really. HOG isn't a patch club with the sorts of rules that apply to the traditional display of "colors." You can display your patch anywhere and any place you like without catching hell from fellow HOG members.
Other patch clubs from the Blue Knights to the Outlaws seem to have all sorts of patch rules.
I'd also recommend joining a local HOG chapter. I've had great fun with mine.
