After years of being on the back of my bikes the wife finally took the MSF class and got her license this past week. We went test riding yesterday on an 883, Fatboy low and a deluxe, but it was the Switchback that had her screaming Hell Yeah once we got to the first light, and all the way back to the dealership.
As these are new bikes I am just wondering if anyone has any experiences that that could share, good, bad or indifferent.
Thanks
P.S. - I had also told her what the fastest color was but she was skeptical (dealer told her what color it was too). So if you guys could help me out and let her know it would be appreciated.
Have had mine a year this month (8700m) and have really enjoyed it. There have been several magazine articles on it that you might be able to find and read on the net. It is a Dyna but has many unique features, front end (the nacelle looks like a RK, but it not the same, its a new part), cartridge in the fork, nitrogen charged rear shocks, 2-1 exhaust, wheels, bags of course. RK windshields are said to fit the SB hardware in case you want to change height. Stock seat is pretty good. I got a HD signature seat which is better, particularly for the passenger (although not likely a concern for her). It looks good with bags and shield and good without!. I have had no problems with mine. Plenty of power and good handling IMO. Did not think I would get a red bike, but it sure looks good in red and just maybe a few cagers will SEE me, maybe.

I love them. I traded my 99 Wideglide in and bought a Red Switchback this spring. 3 weeks ago, I made the mistake of switching bikes with my wife, then she would not give me my Switchback back so I had to ride here Dyna Lowrider the rest of the day. The next day, we happened to be visiting one of the local Harley shops, and they happened to have a Silver switchback in stock. Well as it goes, She now is the proud owner of a Silver Switchback and loves every minute of it, as I do mine.
