I would like to see these colors in person. Last year I wasn't thinking much about the RG CVO colors until I laid my eyes on it at the dealer. All I can say is that maple was beautiful to IMHO and I also liked the white
2013 lineup is a non-event. Not evolutionary or revolutionary when you can purchase a '10, '11, or '12 and get the same bike. 2013 will be remembered as the year of bean counter HD offerings. HD is offering last years parts with new paint for more money.
One thing I noticed is that the anniversary models are 1000 dollars more then the 105th models but have exactly the same accents.IM a fan of anniversary models,my everyday rider is a 105th streetglide, but I don't think the anniversary package is worth that much more.
I really want to like the black line, but FOUR DIFFERENT ENGINE COLORS!!! WTF! Seriously, either re-release the Night Train or do the Black Line right. And the whole Fatboy, Fatboy low and the Fatboy slim thing, seriously? Softail and Sportsters are just weak this year. Although I do love the heavy metallic flakes, but no blue?
Ok, looking at the 2013 bikes, I notice there's no more Sporsters with double front disk. -1 for the MoCo
the XR has been removed altogether. For the Harley purists this would be a +1 for the MoCo.
Outbreak, new model, personally I find it beautiful, but only CVO, i.e. too expensive, no points there
No Springer, no standard or optional 110ci unless you want to fork out big dollars on a cvo, so no change from 2012...
Maybe I put too much expectations on it, but I'm a bit disappointed..
what do you guys feel? fancy the 110th Anny colors? kinda Duracell, but darker.. but I have yet to see them in person
you pretty much read it right, i gave myself a 60th birthday present..... a blown up back, with surgery on friday and a CVO Road Clyde at least one will work
It's just a shame that the softail line doesn't get the ABS, cruise and other goodies without spending 26k + That CVO RoadKing has it all going on for me, maybe in about a year....

I want to see the metal flake green in person. The metal flake red on the '72 look great. I'm betting the green will too.
I was talking with a guy today at a local bike shop. If you look at a Sportster today you can immediately identify it as a Sportster and looks pretty similar to Sportys of the 90's, the 80's, 70's and even the earliest ones.
The same with the Road King. What are people expecting from Harley? Harley comes out with something a bit radical like the Rocker and it flops. The V-Rod hasn't ever really taken hold in the USA.
Harley makes bikes that look like Harleys. When you see one you say to yourself, "Yep that's a Harley". That's partly why we continue to buy them.
I know we all like seeing something new and shiny. But if Harley radically changed it's models every other year, we'd all be up in arms.
Plus, haven't you heard the rumors? The 2013's (2012, 2013, 2014 but no later than 2015 they swear this time) will all be water cooled. We'll all be bitching then won't we? lol
