For me, the CVOs are the stand outs. The CVO Road King flashes me back to my 2007 Road King Custom, which I loved and miss. And the CVO Breakout flashes me back to my 2001 Deuce, which I also have fond memories of. And both appear to be improvements, and if either was offered as a non-CVO, well, I still wouldn't upgrade from my SG, but I know a few guys who would have a deposit on a non-CVO Breakout today...
Of course, they're both too expensive for my blood, especially since I bought a new bike this year and have sunk too much money into it to consider an upgrade.
The rest of the lineup, well, I'm glad I did buy this year, because I still couldn't afford a CVO and Big Blue Pearl isn't offered on the Street Glide.... Need to see the 110 Anniversary editions in person, they do nothing for me on screen.
Instead of dropping the Nightster, they should have transformed it into a Cafe Racer. This scene is growing, and the youngsters are gravitating towards it. Something akin to the Triumph Thruxton or Moto Guzzi V7 Racer. I think it would sell, maybe not in large numbers, but it would attract the young crowd.
The XR1200R was sweet, but it's not what the average Harley person is looking for. For around the same money you can get a Suzuki GSXR that will run rings around it.
Harley will surely surprise mid-year like they always do.
o.k. I did it.......
Dropped 1K down on a 2013 anniversary road king model.
I just couldn't help it.
the bike looks super from all the photos I have seen.
The dealer told me that they should be getting one in soon.
He also said that each dealer is getting one.
I'm getting ready to roll....LOL.
