HD Paint Sets
I typically dont shop on Ebay, because I got shafted a few times, but a buddy told me this guy is good. Wish I could remember his name, Tom or Tim.
Anyways I like the factory paint, it is very very nice. Some of it is even numbered, limited edition. They may make 100 of a certain body, and number them all 10 of 100, 11 of 100. etc.

$4495, what kind of bike? How many parts? Did that price include tins? Which paint job was it?
As a painter, I have to point out that these are numbered sets, which means there are 100 to 200 copies of your paint job in the world. Not custom to me, thats more like conversion. Remember the custom vans of the 70's, companies jumped on the bandwagon and cranked out "conversions", a custom for the masses. This made them more affordable to a larger market. These HD paint jobs are mass produced copies, which should make them less than my one off hand-laid custom paint jobs, not more.
dgator is right, it is cheaper to get a custom paint, and its more personal. Unless overpaying gives you a warm fuzzy feeling, I would reccommend finding a good custom painter.
Good luck,
