Never been in that big of a hurry to get any where. They do say the best thing to come out of Texas is I-35, at 85 that would be pretty short trip.
I-35 in Austin is about 45 mph. with a lot of parking lot speeds.
I might have to hop over to the toll road to try 85 out... but have been
going out I-10 to Big Bend a lot and it has been 80 mph...that's plenty fast for me.
