Went down hard...
The wife and I went for a ride Sunday afternoon and had two pretty close calls.
The saying "ride like your invisible" is so true.
Be careful out there guys, the cages are not looking for us on our bikes.
I'd also sue the sh-t outta that old lady. You're gonna have some severe arthritis issues about 10 - 20 years down the road and they won't be cheap.

Google some of these war vet's stories about recovery and it will bring you courage. One guy on this board posted the story of "TAYLOR MORRIS". These guy are battling through horrific injuries and still have amazing attitudes.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Deuuuce, there's several things gear wise I would have, and will do differently now, a real helmet first and foremost, though the novelty one worked, it was a miracle it did...As for speed? We were doing the speed limit (70) albeit the argument could be made that you should slow down going over a hill, but you also dont stop and back up on a highway, I suppose all of us in a staggered column in one lane instead of two might have been safer, but who knows?
Curt1953, sorry bro, I was on enough morphine to knock out a horse, I cant say I remember anything like that...Honestly from the moment I hit the car until about a week afterwards, my memory is hazy at best, for instance my wife flew out to the hospital the day after the accident, I remember her walking in the room, no memory of the talking etc, then apparantly that evening I wasnt sleeping despite all the meds, so she put a set of headphones on me, plugged into her phone and played my favorite band for me (Pink Floyd) and after 5-10 minutes I started snoring, yet I have no memory of that either....

You have to keep talking, get it out and you will be fine. Be careful with the meds. You need anything, just holler! And I mean it.
You'll get there, I promise.
