Nexl WARNING!
Taking advice and re-posting with WARNING in subject line.
Nexl online will screw you if you send them their requested "check or money order before processing order". I learned the hard way...they will not send merchandise or return email or phone calls, but they did cash my check - two months ago.
To all who have responded with recommendation to go to ACC. I tried them first, but they do not have a 3/4 helmet which is what I need and Nexl advertises.

For those of you trying to get a refund:
I have had the same problem with my order with Nexl. I ordered a helmet on 4/2/07 and was told (via the website) that the helmet would ship in 4 weeks. After 6 weeks I began sending emails and leaving phone messages. No response to any of them.I paid for my order through GOOGLE Checkout.
GOOD NEWS!!!! I contacted GOOGLE Checkout support on 6/18/07,explaining my problem and asked how I might get a refund. I got a return email 4 or 5 hours later from Checkoutsaying that they would contact Nexl and I would be contacted by Nexl or GOOGLE within 5 days. I just got an email from GOOGLE today (6/22/07) saying that my order has been canceled and a full refund has been issued to my card! I logged onmy GOOGLE checkout account as well as Nexl's site and confirmed that my order has been cancelled and my money refunded. Hopefully the rest of you can get the same results by going through GOOGLE. The email address is.... checkout-support@google.com
I hate that we are all going through this. I ordered a helmet from Nexl in 2004 and still wear it today. I just hate that their customer relations has gone so sour.

I dont believe I have ever seen one of their helmets.
Its fine if an order is going ot be backordered for 4 weeks happens often.. but for your order to be past due and you cannot contact me is not right.... to bad....

Phone numbers on web and whois match up.
Seems that someone in the area could at least do a drive by and see if they appear to be in business, no? ... or even walk in and find out why they are screwing the pooch so hard?

Same story here.. This is a straight up scam. Protested the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the BBB after 2 months of BS.
Doesn't really matter though, they responded to the complaint with the following, and thus closed the BBB complaint.
