Most of the time I ride with my right hand on the throttle and my left hand on seat rail or just hanging by my side. So I will use my left arm to signal if I am switching to the left lane. But rather than lifting my left arm to signal a right lane change.

But when I am turning I have to slow down and probably down shifting I will have both hands on my grips I will just use signals.

Use my turn signals only when riding alone, use turn and hand signals when riding with the club.

I use the long finger extended and other fingers half curled as a sign of displeasure more than I use hand extended or arm bent to signify a turn.
