2005 Superglide. 61,000 miles. Installed gear drive and 95" @ 35,000. Cam tensioners almost gone then. Aluminum inner shifter lever splines stripped @ 61,000. Otherwise not a thing.

2007 Road Glide. 51,000 miles. Hydraulic tensioner bad at 16,000 when changed cams and went big bore 103. Y pipe cracked 39,000. Replaced engine compensator with SE @ 40,000. Replaced fork internals 35,000(damper valves installed upside down at factory). Replaced rear shocks because of excessive stiffness 48,000. Ignition switch came apart, replaced 40,000. Floorboard rubbers came apart 40,000. Not a good motorcycle.

2009 XR1200 8,000.........nothing wrong ever

2002 sportster 1200(ol ladys bike) 22,000.........nothing wrong ever

Maybe sportsters are the better bike? Oh yeah, i put all the 120,000 miles on the first 3 bikes.

I have right at 58,000 miles on my '00 Heritage that is still running the Torrington style inner cam bearings. So far, no issues.

2010 RK 20,000 miles. The bottom two bolts on the side door came loose and leaked a bunch of oil. Had to pull the exhaust to retorque. That was 4,000 miles ago, so far it's holding just fine. No other issues that were not self inflicted.

2004 EG Classic, 86,000 miles. Replaced the cam chain tensioners at 75,000 with the hydraulic set up. The original tensioners had minimal wear on them. I have replaced a couple rear wheel bearings and a set of tranny seals. Replaced the original drive belt at 80,000 after a stone pierced it. Just came back from a 5000 mile ride to Sturgis, the engine used no oil. Bike runs great.

2010 ultra classic 47000 miles no work I would call major. But I have had the radio replaced cruise controll replaced brake switch replaced under recall a wiring problem fixed took them a month to find new battery after one year stator plug replaced was leaking fuel pump replaced mostly my fault for letting the bike run so low on fuel which caused the fuel pump to over heat and crack
