NHRA 2013 rules , so what are our opinions

ANY other bike in the category has to make their engines ,and parts available to everyone as per NHRA rules, but HD doesn't have to do this, because they are grandfathered in.
Thanks for the explanation Bill. The rules should be the same for everyone but we all know money talks.

the v-rod will run 2 valves and not have overhead cams next year. vance & hines has already done a lot of work on the new combination. they will not have the horsepower advantage they have now...but will still have a slight edge on the others--say 10 to 15 more horses instead of the 50 they have now. that difference can occasionally be made up on the starting line by the rider and harley will not win everything like they are now. with changing weather and track conditions, the racing will be a lot closer on any given sunday--will be more of a tuner and rider race. i am looking forward to next year.

I agree with Allen W ... V & H will hunker down, do their R & D and come out swingin !!! Then the Suckzuki riders will have something else to whine about ... jus sayin

You mean like giving the slow guys an extra 50ci just so they could be competitive.
