Not enough, if people still are interested in Street Glides.

How about a goddamn sticky on this topic? It's been beaten to death!

What the hell are you asking? The riding difference?

RG owners report better handling due to wind not moving the fairing and lighter turn effort. SG owners prefer the 25lb lighter bike and have no issues with the handling.

Bullshit. Unless it's a different seat it's the same bike except fairing and what, handlebars?

Air cutting? You think the RG has better aerodynamics and THAT will win the race? LMFAO!

25lb weight difference is one real, although minute difference.

And if someone did a .cd and frontal area comparison, they might be really surprised which one is better at "air cutting".

Its actually true. The shark fin actually is better then the SG's Batwing. I used to think the same as you and then I read a study on it.

Aerodynamics dude.... Aerodynamics....

You can LMfAO all you want tiger....

P.s. my preference is the SG... But it's not my bike, it's the OP's

I wanted a Street Glide. I rented both bikes and came away a Road Glide owner. I'm 6'2 215lbs and yes, I can reach the radio.

From experience based on owning a bat wing and a shark nose, I feel less turbulence on the shark from wind gust and oncoming trucks. I also think the shark is a little tougher to handle in slow speed traffic. If one is going to ride mostly in town, I would recommend the street glide.

its been touched on, but really between the sg and the rg, other than the fairing, there are no other differences. they are the same bike. ride them both, and pick the one you like best.

(we all know it'll be the shark )
