I too was looking at a 2000 Softail. It was one owner and had engine work in 2010. But he had the work done at the dealership and the mechanic pulled up the work on the computer and showed me.
It was a great help that the guy used one dealer and had them do everything including all services.
I am a proponent of doing it yourself but here was an example of the value to have the dealer do everything and being a source of info on a bike.
They don't know crap about my bikes because I do it all myself and the only record is in my head or was at one time or other I think.
