Exhaust gas, with or without an oxidizing catalyst (HC & CO), a reducing catalyst (NOx) or a three way catalytic converter (HC,CO & NOx) is a mixture of highly corrosive chemicals. The presence of Water (H2O) has little to do with the generation of Rust (FeO2). If you don't want rusted exhaust systems, you'll need to use stainless steel.

You'll almost ALWAYS do better (in most cases, MUCH better) importing parts from the States.
