A friend of mine is the manager of the apparel dept at the local Legend Harley dealership here in Wenatchee...she found out Saturday that today (Tuesday) would be their final day...they're closing the doors at 6pm tonight. Kinda sudden if ya ask me. Makes my eyebrows raise wondering what the hell happened...nothin' in the newspaper or radio, none of the employees knew about it 'til last Sa.
Clothing 30% off today, lol.

That sucks for the employees. Kind of like, "Oh, by the way....."
Sorry to hear this...they helped me out with an electrical problem at the begining of a long trip. I was in and out of there within an hour.... And a old friend of mine owns the building they are in.
The smallest dealer here in Nashville, Bost HD, is also closing. They are calling it a dealership "Retirement" but I do not know if its an HD forced closing or the owner decided to retire. Truthfully we were a bit over saturated with 6 dealers within 30 min of town. I kind of like the competition, keeps them working to improve.
This is the perfect time for me to chime in and address the "YOLO" supporters. If you think your job is secure, think again. This is exactly why I choose to buy only what I can afford...with cash. I'm not going to keep financing my way through depending on a steady check to keep what I've financed. You only live once is a cop out and an excuse for living for the minute. Go ahead, but I'll still be on my scoot and have a roof over my head with hot water when the man hands me my pink slip.
