Think about it, if they didn't charge they would have a billion people beggin' these guys to show up at any event. Enough people will pay to see them, pay for their autographs, hell why not charge. Even local celebs get paid a decent amount to appear at crap.
Before they had there own regular show, the first couple times on Discovery, the show was worth watching. Now the show isn't about the bikes anymore. It's about Mike going to Boston or Sr yelling alot, or some other crap.

bottom line is the money..they were practically nothing before discovery channel found them..back when they were true bikers(before the show) they would have been happy to even be invited to the chopper show just to get the product noticed..
